Compelled Speech is a legal concept.

The idea that the legal body has the power to force you to say something. This has not been introduced into English Common Law until the introduction of the Bill C-16 in Canadian Human Rights Act.

Some people mistakenly argue that the restrictions of Hate Speech and other law is the same thing, but it is not. A restriction and being compelled are two different things. Some find it difficult from the perspective of restricted speech to then understand that restricting all the possible options in a given scenario except two or three words, is not the same as restricted speech. It is not the same.

It is Compelled Speech. Being forced to say something.

This legal apparatus introduces unfathomable huge potential for abuse by bad actors, subtlety or otherwise. There is no good enough reason to put it in place. This is why JBP opposes it.
